More than just a place to take a walk in the fresh air, our grounds are available for celebrations, both intimate and grand. Guest will rave after you host your next event with us.
From a starlit front lawn or a hidden spot beneath the oak tree to an intimate evening or a lively dance party in the Magnolia Ballroom, this unique experience will fill your storybook with lasting memories.
BEA ARTHUR SUITE
Host a group of your girlfriends, a small intimate gathering or capture a lasting lifetime image of your dress hanging from the 100-year-old historic doors.
Step onto the front terrace for a first look, a private toast with loved ones and overlook the grounds where guest will gather in celebration of your wedding. Additionally, guests can reserve the connecting Bea Arthur King Room and enjoy your own private suite with a kitchen, king bed, and bathroom.
This romantic suite is named after one of Blackstone’s most famous Alumna, Hollywood star Bea Arthur. She attended in 1941 and was voted wittiest in her class. Which one of the Golden Girls are you?

GEORGE P. ADAMS SUITE
Host a small corporate event or enjoy some libations with friends as you await your festivities of the day. Equipped with air hockey and a dart board, this space is also a perfect gathering area to reminisce and relax before the big “I Do".
Found on our second floor, your group may enjoy some fresh air on the terrace or step into our acorn room for a card game and lunch.
Our George P. Adams suites is named after Blackstone’s most adorned staff member who served the campus for its entirety until the last commencement. This suite showcases 19th century French doors welcoming you the main terrace of the building.

THE MAGNOLIA ROOM
Guest will talk about your event for years to
come! On the ground floor adjacent from our enchanting courtyards, this space is the perfect blank canvas to create your own style event.
With industrial chic vibes, this historical space is unique for any event. A grand experience awaits as your event designers transform this space for your story worthy experience. From the original polished concrete flooring, century-old windows with remote neutral blinds, and the dimmable lighting, your options are endless.

THE OLD TOWER TERRACE
Found at the front of the building, this terrace served as the main porch for the school and is an iconic location for many historic photos found in their yearbook, The Acorn. Enjoy the fresh air, take some photos, and wander onto the front lawn and grounds.
This landing is an ideal location just off our two suites for a first-glance, small cocktail toast, or even the ideal backdrop for a ceremony.

VIOLETA cHAMORRO TERRACE
Adorned with Doric columns above an arcaded first-floor entrance this terrace provides a bird's eye view of the gorgeous property that once provided fresh air and recreation to students and military soldiers.
It is an ideal location for a private elopement or small ceremony for twenty guests. Reserve this elegant terrace for a photography session, luncheon or dinner, or simply enjoy the views during your stay.

THE ACORN
Named after the college's yearbook, The Acorn room is a place to gather and enjoy breakfast with family and friends.
Breakfast is served daily for all of our overnight guests. Served buffet style, choose from several hot items, fresh baked goods, cereals and of course juices and coffees.
The Acorn is also an ideal location for lunch meetings, intimate dinner parties, celebrations, and the perfect rehearsal dinner site.
THE COURTYARD
Located in the rear-court of campus, this space provides outdoor seating, tables, and firepits overlooking the original Carriage House, back yard and the old oak tree. Just steps inside you’ll find our Magnolia Ballroom.
Dress it up and make it your own by planning an event under the stars, a cocktail hour outlining the main event, or a historic setting for a unique ceremony location on the turf or under the oak overlooking the Inn.

As if the Inn’s classic revival brick building with Doric columns and the first floor wasn’t romantic enough itself, the Inn at Blackstone sits on a multi-acre secluded location just waiting to welcome guests for both corporate retreats and social celebrations.
From a small intimate dinner affair or a grand orchestrated milestone our team is ready to provide charm and southern hospitality to your next event.
